Nigerian music stars, Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Asake, Yemi Alade, Rema and Lojay have each earned nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The organizers of the prestigious music award event, the Recording Academy disclosed on its website that the 67th edition of the Grammy will hold on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Davido and Lojay earned nomination in the Best African Music Performance category with American singer, Chris Brown for their song, Sensational.
Still in the Best African Music Performance category, Asake and Wizkid earned a nomination for their song MMS while Tems received a nomination for Love Me Jeje.
Burna Boy and Yemi Alade was also nominated in the Best African Music Performance category with their respective songs ‘Higher’ and ‘Tomorrow’.
Nigerian artistes were also nominated in the Best Global Music Album category, with Tems earning a nomination for her album Born in the Wild while Rema made the list with his album Heis.
