One Ajoke Nada Makanjuola, has accused her husband, Michael of assault after he accused her of engaging in same-sex relation.
The complainant was brought in a hospital with a burnt leg after her husband poured a boiling hot water on her leg during an argument with her husband.
Reports indicated that this is not the first time Michael have assaulted Ajoke.
Due to the same sex allegation, Michael who has serially subjected her to repeated physical violence, including cutting her left hand with a knife and pushing her down the stairs causing her to lose her pregnancy, consistently used verbal abuse and threats against her.
Ajoke said she is extremely fearful for her safety and so scared of her well-being, as the frequency and severity of these incidents have increased over time, adding that she has sustained multiple injuries as a direct result of Michael’s actions.
