Sudanese army recaptures town from Rapid Support Forces

The Sudanese army have recaptured a town in central Sudan amid military advances against the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary group.

The Sudanese Defence Minister Yasin Ibrahim disclosed in a statement that army forces seized control of Um Al-Qura town east of Al-Jazira State.

Sudanese soldiers also published footages of their deployments in the town on their social media platforms.

meanwhile, there was no comment yet from the RSF on the army statement.
