The committee also recommended that issues of human rights abuse are subjective and urging the National Assembly leadership to submit in clear terms expulsion as a punishment for erring Non-Governmental organizations operating in the country.

The committee also asked that the “Action Against Hunger and Amnesty International be invited with a view to answer why they should not be banned from operating within the Nigerian territory.

It also recommended the auditing of non-governmental organizations by security agencies before they can be allowed to operate within the country while asking the leadership of the National assembly to invite the “Action Against Hunger and Amnesty International with a view to answer why they should not be banned from operating within the Nigerian territory.

A Senior Programme Officer for the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Foundation Nepal, Rev. He acknowledged on behalf of NGOs that the representations in the report were fair given the glaring evidence and testimonies the committee received.
